Izula Folder!

Is it one their site? Does it indicate that it's being released? They've had the same picture up for 2 or 3 years.
 
t is the same picture from a few years ago and still says. "This knife is not being manufactured at this time."

I did find a quote from Jeff Randall, Jan. 25 2012. " We will be building the Izula folder this year."

I hope they stick with 1095. I hate when everything a company makes is in one steel and they decide to make a folder. "hey lets make it in AUS6"
 
Sorry for the confusion. Ive been on Esee's site many times in the past couple years but never noticed the pictures. I should have done more research before reflexively making a thread on something that isn't out. My bad, guys.
 
While I believe that D2 is an awesome steel I feel that a modern folder in 1095 would be pretty cool seeing as there are very few on the market ( I think Mooremaker makes one ) and it might possibly be offered at a slighlty lower price point seeing as it's a less expensive steel and the heat treat is bit more simple
 
I have been hearing about the folder for years. Come on, it is really not that hard to make a knife.
 
I wonder if the Busse folder will keep the same locking mechanism and the same overall profile as the prototypes.

Hopefully they go with titanium handle, rather than the aluminum that the prototypes used.
 
It looks like a really sweet folder from esee. Wish they would make the damn thing already.
