im very impressed ...
i wanted this knife since it was a prototype, and nowsince its finally here , i cant take my hands of of it
great slicer , great size, lightweight, strong...well, the best knife ive laid my hands on in a long time

the izula is a great choice for a first ESEE, it looks like you like it! and thanks for sharing the pics.
 
Boo Hoo..... I miss my Izula. As soon as I get off from work I gonna rush home and see her! Shhh, I hope my wife doesn't find out. :eek:
 
I keep seeing peoples Izulas and it makes me want one more and more each time! Once I've got the cash I'll spring for one.
 
Nice pics jacktrades, thanks for sharing. I think you have just convinced me to pick up an izula in preference over a RC-3 for my next RAT!
 
I too just got my izula today, I was surprised how small it was... its probably because im used to packin my HEST
 
after using the izula for a while at home , i had the time to go out, and use it on some wood, sharpen some sticks, dry and green, build a small trap, make some wood shavings, and i gotta say im very impressed
after all that, the edge was still great, like it was when i got it, the coating had no visibile scratches, and the handling overall is very comfortable
packed with a SAk that has a saw (i had the old trailmaster/trekker), its all i need in a camping trip
very capable small knife, one of the best ive had the pleasure to handle
i will deffinately get another one, or even 2 more, just in case :D
good job ESEE/RAT , im sold
