I tried using the search button, but I'm not being very successful. What options are out there for leather sheaths for an Izula+slabs? I figure the new knife will definitely spend time as a neck knife with the kydex it comes with, but I also like front pocket carry...not so much back pocket, though.

When the knife arrives, I plan on seeing if my mini-canadian sheath fits, which I suspect it will. I'm looking for options without a belt loop, as well, though. Again, front pocket.

Thanks for helping out the new guy.:o

Oh, and pics are very helpful. ;)

Here ya go. http://www.knivesshipfree.com/KSF-Leather-IZULA-Leather-BeltNeck-Sheath I've got one of these and it fits perfectly with or without slabs. The snap release feature is pretty clever and allows for quick drawing of your knife and excellent retention. They are available in brown or black and I believe you can get them with the Sharpshooter EEP as well. Plus they hold a small ferro rod. If you can't tell, I really dig these sheaths :)

Quick edit to say they do have a belt loop but they are still pretty low profile.

just to clarify the sheath that comes with the izula is injection molded plastic not kydex.

the link that smcclown05 gave you is a great option! another would be having a custom sheath built but as you may or may not know that is the more pricer.

welcome to the sickness! :D

I have the KSF pocket sheath but I still carry my izula in a leather sheath by Martin Swinkels! And it comes with a belt loop!

What about the JRE Clovis? Do you think that would fit?

As far as the JRE pocket sheaths, is there one that would hold the Izula and a CR123 flashlight?

i carry mine in a ksf pocket sheath with a traditional folder in the other pocket of the sheath. it works great in a back pocket.

+1 For Martin Swinkels
His work is great. He made both my izula sheaths http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=750831 His leather work is even more impressive http://martinsheaths.blogspot.com/
He's a great guy to deal with too. I had some sharpening issues, went to his place and he resharpened my bravo-1, he thought me a few things and made me a belt sheath too. We even came up with a new belt carry deisgn buts thats for a new thread :)
