I'm thinking about getting an Izula with the kit that has the belt clip and magnesium rod and all that goodness. But I haven't been able to find a definite answer on whether the clip and sheath are left hand capable. Can anyone tell me for sure if it he clip will mount for left hand carry? If not I don't want to waste extra money. Pictures would be nice too. :)

Yes, the clip plate that comes with the izula kits will mount on either side. Pull the trigger, you won't be disappointed!

Sweet. It's in the works. I can't decide between the black and OD green. I have to sell one of my knives first. Can't really justify spending money on another knife right now. But if I sell one, it's game on!!

I've got the venom green with G10 scales. Very cool little blade. I only wish the holes were spaced where it could also be carried on the belt horizontally.

Very much fits both sides. What's more, if you wanted to get really crazy and customize it there are kydex benders a plenty here than can make just about anything you can think of.

A fellow lefty izula owner here. Yes, the stock sheath will accommodate lefty carry, but from my personal experience the sheath was what held me back from truly enjoying carrying the knife. I decided to press up my own sheath for it shortly after getting it and I couldn't be happier with the setup. I carry left side IWB (or at least inside the belt) with this setup:

Nice, if I truly decide I don't like the stock sheath I'll probably make me a leather one. But you are right, there are definitely some fantastic kydex benders around.

Leather is always a nice option and allows for some warmth on a stout knife like the Izula. I don't think you can go wrong either way. Let us know what you go with.

Hey guys, just an update, we had a garage sale today and I decided to set some of my old knives outside on the table that I don't use or don't want. Not really expecting to do much, I actually sold about half of the knives I set out there. After tallying up my earnings, I made $3 more than what I needed to buy the black izula and the kit with the belt clip and fire steel and stuff. So now I can get the knife I really want and still feed my baby. :). I spen most of last night searching old threads on different paracord wraps people have used on their izula. This guy is happy!!!!

You can fix that with an $18.00 inner tube from Walmart. I cut the tube so that it fits over the sheath covering the boot clip holes. It holds everything horizontally very close and snug.

Congrats on the garage sale! You'll enjoy the Izula. I frequently carry the Izula left-handed IWB. The clip plate mounts easily to accommodate this. I am in Central America for work and have sweat the black paint off of the bolts, but the exposed metal does not rust or turn my skin green.

I caught and released several Izulas over time but have finally learned to appreciate the design, utility, and metallurgy that make this little knife so popular. I have aftermarket kydex but prefer the factory sheath and clip plate for most carry.

So I got shipping confirmation today. Should be here Thursday. :) in the mean time, I've been looking through every old thread on here I can find with different paracord wraps. I think I've found the color combo and wrap pattern I like. I took an old welding rod and bent it into a rough handle shape to practice. Here's what I've settled on:
