Izula love / question

I recently started working as an Asset Manager for a mid sized company. Basically I open everything that the company buys and record it as an asset.
From small packages to large crates.
I've been using an Izula now for about a month. It has really preformed well with any task that I throw at it.
My question is now that it needs sharpening what is the original edge angle? I sharpen most of my knifes either using a Spyderco Sharpmaker or croc sticks.
Thanks for your help.

Sharpmaker will work fine. original angles were 40 inclusive, 20 a side.

I sharpened mine on the 30 inclusive side before I started using stones. A set of lansky diamond stones will put a nice edge on.

Well I use the Sharpmaker for my Izula :). 20º per side or 40º inclusive. I don't like the 1095 with a 30º angle but maybe that's just me

Well, that's not exactly what I was expecting when I got in here. I was getting ready to tell you not to go kissing on your Izula as it will result in horrible pain and dis-figuration. As far as the original angle on the blade, I do not know. I sharpen my knives freehand on a fine bench stone and have been able (after lots of practice and some dulled edges) to get a good edge pretty easily. One of these wise individuals here will certainly be able to help.

God bless,
Adam
