So I forgot I had an izula and I'm going rabbit hunting soon so I thought it be a good knife for skinning and cleaning rabbits but I want to try giving it a new look how hard would it be to take the coating off and polish the blade? Thanks in advance

Tuf-glide works like a charm, I usually start by cleaning the blade with rubbing alcohol, then apply the tuf-glide/tuf-cloth. I just started using sentry solutions products, but they are great! :D

paint stripper is the easiest way to get the coating off,

some people have polished them, many just force a patina on them usually using mustard, but other acidic stuff works too.

the only downside to stripping the knife is that it becomes a bit looser inside the sheath.

yep it rattles a little in the sheath, nothing a heat gun won't fix though.. stripping it is the easy part, polishing it is a NIGHTMARE !!! Mine was close to perfect then I gave up and patina it..

I just have to laugh...because I forgot I had mine on my person. My friend and I we at the local gun store when the owner asked how many knives are on you? My friend pulls out a Swiss army and two spydies for a total of 3. I pull out a Swiss army - from the malbarbo miles times - my endura, then pulled my manix out of it nylon case - for a total of 3 also. We go out side and he asked me for something, I reach into my top pocket of my jacket and pulled out my Izula. I forgot I had it on me! So when I laugh it's not at you but with you.
