Tinkered with this for a while. Not like the quality ESEE puts out but everything is double stitched by hand with heavy nylon thread, I expect it will hold up well.

It will hook up with two rows of Molle.

Also made with two layers of heavy nylon belt material, So I left 2 inches split at the top for regular belt carry.

Thought of making a pouch but couldn't come up with anything I liked. I might come back later and hook the Izula E&E kit up on the front of it.

Would be really cool if ESEE made a molle back / pouch combo for the Izula.

Good work. We are working on a design now for a future Izula MOLLE Back

Awesome! I have more sheaths these days than I have knives. Nice to have options. I would definitely purchase an Izula molle back.

That's pretty cool, would go well strapped to the side of a bag or your belt. Where did you find the 2" heavy nylon belt webbing? I know where to get 1" nylon webbing in town but haven't seen 2" around.

I got it from an old safety harness that was damaged. The recommendation to go to a junk yard for seatbelt material is pretty good. Pretty much the same stuff and you could find a whole host of colors. It is surprisingly easy to sew as well. The toughest parts were where I had the 1" webbing over two layers of the 2", and that wasn't even to bad. The 1" webbing is just standard stuff that is used in compression straps you can buy at wally world. If you try to go for the heavy 1" webbing that ESEE uses in their gear, your going to need a machine to sew it.

Yeah I've seen the 1" webbing at a local hardware store.....I think I might be able to find some 2" wide there as well or some tie-down cables...with the locks and carabiner....that I could cut up to use.

Old seatbelt material sounds like a great idea, I'm sure they would just charge me for admission to get in to grab some of it....I'm not sure how they work in your area but you have to pay $2 to $3 to get in......I think they do it as a deterrent to people who just want to doink around in there.
