Izula question

I carry it as a neck knife, I have carried it in my pocket, but I prefer it around my neck, you get used to it after a few days......

I usually carry mine on my belt with a teklok but when I'm in the woods I often use it as a necker and find it just right as far as size and weight

neck carry in a leather KSF sheath on the weekends, pocket in the original sheath during the work week.

I carry mine every day everywhere in a Kydex sheath horizontally on my hip but when I'm out in the woods it's tip up carry on my backpack shoulder strap at chest level.

The reason I ask is because I don't ever wear anything around my neck. I wanted to know if I could do so comfertibly or not. Thanks for the replies so far.

it depends,

around the house it is a neck knife, my pockets are already full of knives

and out of the house it goes on the belt.

You will get used to it. Im carrying the Izula horizontal on belt now, but Ive carried a CRKT and a Cold steel as a neck knife, you adjust after a few days, and its all good.

Carried mine on a mini tek-loc on the belt for about a year - horizontally.
Started carrying the HEST inthat postion recently.

Moved the Izula to the neck - stock sheath - working great there.

Around the house, walking the dogs, just out and about - around my neck. Around a lot of people (that aren't knife oriented) - in my front left pocket often with my wallet (right pocket always has a folder on a clip and my keys).

I wear mine upside-down on my right side in a doublebarrel kydex sheath with a tek-lok

Can't carry mine at all good ole city codes that prohibit carry of fixed blades regardless of length. :thumbdn:

When I'm around the house or doing yard work, it is around my neck in an Orange kydex sheath.

I carry mine as a necker sometimes, but also: Mercharnes, and pocket.

I put a simple loop of paracord thru the carabinner hole, loop it around my belt above front pocket, and drop the Izula handle down in my front pocket. When I need the knife, pull the whole thing out and pop out the knife whilst holding the sheath. Let go of sheath, and it just dangles on your belt while you use your knife. Cheap, no knife or sheath lost issues and reasonably fast deployment. I made the paracord loop just long enough to use as a necker also. All anyone sees is a loop of paracord going into your pocket,so stealthy as well.

I wear mine on my belt. It's easy to reach without being conspicuous. If the situation called for it or I was wearing another knife on my belt I would carry it around my neck. With its size and weight I don't see it causing any problems.
