I rewrapped my OD Izula and finally decided to dedicate it to neck carry. I used to whistle and cord lock that came in the kit.
Here's the setup.

Great knife/tool!

nice job. that looks great. can you explain how the whistle cord end works? I couldn't figure out where to put the cord ends.

Slip the outer part over the cord ends first then each end of the cord sets in the whistle opposite sides of each other. The cord will be at a 90º angle when in the slots. It's a little difficult to keep the ends in place. I burned the ends a tad and put them in the little slots while still hot which helped hold them. I didn't strip anything out of the center of the cord but probably should have.
Very carfully slide the outer part over the whistle. I used a pliars to fully couple them after they were mated.

Awesome thanks. I had a feeling thats where the ends went but I couldnt get them to stay put so I wasn't sure. I was also using the smaller diameter green cord that came with the kit.

It a loud whistle for its size.

I added to the original post that the cord ends will be/should be at a 90º angle in the whistle slots before you slip the cover over. Not sure if that's the intention but that's what I think is.

Looks good, but I don't know if I would want tied off paracord around my neck.

I'm very careful but your right, it isn't a good idea. Right now the knife needs a hefty pull to release it from the sheath. When it wears in a little and takes less effort, I'll remove the knot and whistle.
I only wear a necker around camp, when on the move, in the pack it goes.

Push the sheath off of the knife with your thumb.;)

+1
I would remove the knot and whistle that's beyond the spring loaded keeper so it will come off easily if you catch it on something.
Surefire does that on their flashlight lanyards for safety reasons.
