I do believe it is now time to expand the pack and get an ESEE Izula. The scales are available for pre-order and it seems that we should include a set and see how we like them.

My question of this distinguished group is -- which color Izula? Black or OD? Which do you think will look best with the scales? Knife and sheath only or should I get the kit & kabootle kit? Hmmmmmmm.
Many humble thanks for your wise thoughts, direction and guidance...............;)

Desert Tan was my first thought.................. but that's how my RC3 is dressed. And, as we all know,

kit includes a fire starter, so if you need one, it might be worth the extra $$.

I got the tan but I'm thinking that the scales would look good on OD too.

I already had everything in the kit so for me it was a no brainer. If you'd rather put one together yourself it's pretty easy to do and you'll most likely have some left overs for other projects.

I think I may get a set and take some brown Rit Dye to them for my tan izula. If it takes they would look pretty good. If someone beats me to it please post pics.

IMO color doesn't matter if your going to use it. But I bought black first. I have Tan,Od and Pink also. If you just want to look good black or maybe Od looks the best to me. I would just buy the knife and scales. It's cheaper. You can get a fire strater and better whistle another time. JMO
