Izula scales

I did a search but I really didnt get an answer to my question, are the factory Izula grips long enough or do they feel too short? I wish that they covered the hole like some of the aftermarket scales. I hate to spend almost as much on the aftermarket scales as what the knife cost me.

It probably depends on your hands, but for me I could only really get a three finger grip on the micarta scales and the exposed pommeled would be gripped by my last finger. It felt a little awkward so I used some of the paracord to wrap the pommel.
