Well i decided i would like to carry my IZULA in different ways so i messed around with some paracord and rigged the sheath so that it could be used for belt carry. Cheaper than going out and buying a tech lok too. I wear it horizontal carry mostly or just in my pocket. I can carry it in the vertical position as well. In the horizontal carry position, the sheath sits very tight (i wrapped it real tight on the sheath and tied knots once the paracord went through the final holes, then burned the ends to prevent fraying). Overall im happy with it, with a hoodie or jacket on, the knife is completely concealed. Large shirt would conceal it too. Also frees up a pocket for my pack o' smokes :D

Nice cord job on the sheath! You can't get much more accessible than the horizontal carry you have pictured. The main thing that kept me from trying it that way was the hassle of running the belt through the cord or cord around the belt. Now I'm so used to neck carry I don't know if I'll ever try the belt clip thing or not.

It's always good to see carry pictures.

Its a little bit of effort to get the belt through the paracord but once its on, its on tight and i dont even notice its there. I can resheath the knife without even holding the sheath

I bet that's even more convenient than a pocket folder.

Good pics, I do something similar, the paracord crosses so I can wear horizontal or vertical like yours, but I keep a cord-lock on mine so I can also put it on backpack straps and stuff without having to untie and retie all the time.

Thanks for the crotch shots, my day is now complete!!!LOL!!!

Cool setup. I'm having a hard time figuring out whats going on with the vertical piece that goes from the bottom hole to the top. Is that a seperate piece? Where are the ends?

Then ends are here coming from the bottom. You can see where i burned them if you look closely. Its one piece of paracord. I will try and explain it the best i can with the photo i edited with paint.

Make sure you have the knife held the same way as i do in the picture. Sheathed and blade facing away from you. Will make it easier to follow the step by step instructions

Step 1) From the bottom, push the paracord through and tie a knot. Burn it to prevent fraying.

Step 2) Take the paracord and bring it under the sheath and through the gap [ ] it has in the sheath and over so that you are wrapping it towards you. Do this until the end of the gap making sure you keep the paracord tight in the process.

Step 3) Pull the paracord under the sheath and put it through the hole directly opposite where you just finished wrapping.

Step 4) Pull it tight all the way to the bottom of the sheath and feed it through the large hole.

Step 5) Bring it up and put it through the top hole (the one you have fed it through already). Tie a knot, burn the ends and youre done.

Happy horizontal/vertical/inverted carry. Just remember to keep it tight at all times.

I hope this helps you out

Very nice work! If mine doesnt work out as a neck knife i might try that

that is a nice set up. the only thing that i do not like about using paracord to attach my knife to my belt is that it is only a short term solution. and if it gets wet it could deteriorate and it could easily be cut.
