I'm picking up my first Rat tomorrow an Izula. I want to get a Kydex sheath for it, but I don't know where to get a decent one. Any suggestions on who makes them and how to get in touch? I did a search but I'm still not sure how to get in touch with some of the makers. I thinking about something with a clip for a boot, belt, or pocket.

Dylside was making some pretty cool sheaths at one time.

If I can't get one with a clip I was wondering if they could make one rectangular shape like a pack of cigs but with rounded corners.

I would recommend Wookies sheaths. They look really good and I've heard good things. Right now, I'm concentrating on making knives so I'm laying off sheaths for a while. Thank you for thinking of me though. It's nice to know that I made something nice enough that I get mentioned right off the bat. For anyone who makes anything, no matter how big or small it may be, that's about the best compliment you can get.

P.S. That means, for all those who have one of my Izula sheaths, as it stands right now, you have a collector's item. ;)

Wookie does sell them. As of yesterday He had two in stock and the price is very reasonable considering how far he has to ship.

These are fantastic sheaths. So good I bought a second one. I'd recommend these to anyone wanting a slimmer and more compact Izula sheath. Good build quality at a very reasonable price.

For those of you making kydex Izula sheaths, might I suggest that you add a spot for the thumb to push off of, custom folded kydex like this is difficult to pull the knife out without tugging it out.

Just a thought :)

If you look in the maker's forum there are some really nice ones there. There is one in particular that caught my eye, enough for me to get one. I can't remember the name of the maker right now, but if you PM me I'll forward the message he sent me.
