I noticed the ESEE manufacturer's forum looks like its no longer here... since this is a question about sheathing specifically I thought it would fit here, but please move it to the general forum if its in the wrong place.
I'm getting an Izula after months of going "nah, I don't need one... I don't want one..." as I've been hankering for a small non-Mora fixed blade for a long time, but until recently hadn't warmed up to the ESEE bonfire. It looks like a neat and useful little knife and though I don't think I'll be in Peru anytime soon, the city where I live has vague and restrictive laws on folders but surprisingly permits sub 4" fixed-blades I will be carrying IWB during the week and OWB during weekend outings in the woods/country, and I see that ESEE just released a new clip plate for the Izula 1 & 2... I also see mention of the Spyderco G-clip as being a great fit for the Izula sheath.
Can anyone chime in on what might be best for me? Your experiences? Simplicity makes me smile, and I actually like that the ESEE clip plate appears less adjustable, but I can't find them for sale seperately anywhere and don't really want to buy a whole kit full of paracord and ferro-rod that I don't need.
What do you all use to tote your Izula? Not interested in MOLLE locks or neck carry, really. Does anyone know where to get either of these clips on their own, without paying more for shipping than they're worth?
Thanks very much everyone... I hope to join the clan soon
