Got to reading about stripping the Izula and how to make your own scales this morning. Couple pots of coffee, a few bucks and several hours later. Voila...

Thx, It is 1/4" Red Oak. I used two 5/8" inch chicago screws, and filled the inside with 3,500 lb two part epoxy.

Decklin,

Nice work there. That knife is now quite properly yours. Made for you by you. I loved my Izy before I made scales for it. But it's special now, one of a kind blade. Well done. May it serve you well.

God bless,
Adam

I was just thinking of doing this with a Busse Skeleton Warden - its always pissed me off that Busse (or anyone) never thought to sell scales for that knife just in case you wanted to Neck or EDC in a sheath without para-cord when ESEE picked right up on the need for them on the Izula. I think I just need to get an Izula badly.
