IZULA vs Becker-Necker (new Ka-Bar version)

I have only the camillus bk11 and both are great but I really like the size of the Izula over the BK11 more compact and the Izula come in a variety of colors and MEN love variety !:D

Thanks for the info. ANyone else have the new Ka-Bar version and an IZULA to compare? Pics would be great too!
 
I agree with Joe!

Here is a picture from a SWAT Magazine review I did of the Becker Necker a few months back. This was a size comparison shot alternate. Hope this is ok with the mods here.

Yes, get both. I got the Necker first. After putting a new edge on it, it's a beast. However, I have heard the handle on the Izula doesnt dig as hard into your palm because of the rounded edges. Also, I like the tip and warranty on the Izula better. I'll be getting one soon
 
I agree with others, Get both blades!! I bought the Izula first and as soon as I have some more play money I'm buying the BK11. :) Don't believe you can go wrong with either. :thumbup:

I really don't like the sheath on the new Becker Necker... it's really difficult to get in and out, I think it would be even worse in the cold as the plastic will be even less flexible. I will probably get an aftermarket sheath made up for it. The Izula sheath on the otherhand is fantastic, I love the way it locks in place from.

Both are great knives, but I like the feel of the Izula in my hand a bit better, and like the pointier blade of the Izula.
 
cool! I didnt know the Tek lok fit the izula sheath! Where's the best place to pick one of those up? (small version I reckon)

I have some of these and they are great for small sheaths on belts up 1 1/2 inches wide -- but note it has no adjustment so 1 1/2 inches is best. You don't see them often. As you can see the regular one is as big as the sheath for an Izula.

I just checked a small one and the hole spacing does work on the slot side of the Izula sheath.

Wow, I have been trying to figure out where guys were getting those. I was about ready to start cutting and tapping one of my diamond stones.

Please elaborate on your thoughts of it. How well does it work?
 
I hate to say this, but I was hoping that a couple of people preferred the Becker. I like the Izula more too, but I was just hoping to see some pro's of the Becker given over the Izula. When I can get to a point where I can buy toys again, I'm going to pick up a Becker to play with.
