Hey ESEE guys, I picked up an Izzy 2 this week. I realized a little while back I really wanted a little more handle than even the Izzy with the scales could provide.

Solid move on my part. It is an entirely different knife for me. Handles which prove that just because the knife is smaller my hands did not shrink. Behaves like a bigger knife in either pedestrian tasks or those ninja-like kur-ah-tee things I play at. It takes the Izzy out of a tertiary roll in this respect and transforms it into a serious candidate as a personal protection knife in locals which don't like big blades, or for folks who don't want to carry a bigger knife.

Thanks for the Izzy 2, guys, again, you've taken something down to its simplest and most practical iteration and made it look easy.

Now just make it in pink for me, will ya? :D (I do like the innocent pink knife, a lot)

I'm with you.....I love the Izula II. It feels great in the hand and has a slim profile while sheathed to fit inside a pocket, jacket pocket or wherever you want to shove it. It also is of a size as to not alarm someone or make you think you are crazy......

I EDC the 3MIL-S....you might like it. It is a little bigger, more substantial knife but is a good logical next step up from the Izula II. It isn't too big to where people think it is 'too big', although the choil makes it longer overall, while also allowing you to choke up on the blade to make it appear smaller in-hand. It's 3.38" blade would be a legal size to carry concealed, whereas the 4 would be illegal to conceal.

I'm glad you found that the II works better for you! I think people who don't want a paracord wrapped handle should all choose the II over the I.
