Well I received my Izula II today just picked it up at lunch break.....

I have to say I am impressed with it, I know it kept the original lines and extended the handle which is awesome for those who did not like the original Izula short handle area.
I am going to stop EDC'n the BM 740 ? and pack the Izula 2 around starting tomorrow. I like the idea of it sharing alot of the same features and sheathing as the original Izula that is awesome, I am going to slip the I2 into my Leather Belt Sheath that I packed my Izula around in and start EDC'n pronto .
remember the Original Izula hit 10K quickly , I think the Izula II will do the same ,it will become a very popular model. Hoping the Izula II will be offered in the OD & DT but for now Black only.
 
Mine showed up this past Monday. Love it. The minor changes make a huge difference over the regular Izzy.

For me there's really no going back to the Izzy-1 for EDC.

Been pocket carrying the Izzy-2 all week and its worked out great, don't even know it's there.
 
This one was the sharpest knives I have ever received (I'm very serious about that). I love it as well. I have it zip tied to my belt scout style in shotgunner kydex right now. I think it may replace my BM rift as an EDC.

Yeppers.I had noticed it was one of the sharpest blades I've ever run across.
Five50 just above had noticed it too, as well as SemperP. I Have cut up about 20 some magazines (man what a mess.!!!!) for about 1 1/2 weeks, and its still silly sharp. LUV It.!!! It gets an A+ from me:thumbup:
Congrats Tex Tony. Yer gonna luv it. I have tryed 3 ways of carry, pocket, belt, and neck, just to see how it was, and ya can't tell its there. I had to give up my big blades, cuz I only have one arm to play with, but my Lil Ant packs a Big blade punch. Its my EDC belt carry now. Its my "forever blade" Now. The difference with the handle a bit bigger, and scales, make this a blade that will sell in the 100.000s. Its Just right for everything in a small blade. Have fun Tex Tony..enjoy edgy :thumbup:

you know i've never seen the zipper whistle actually applied to anything, do you have any ideas for that?? or any pics with it in use..

LMF mini firesteel the scraper is behind firesteel down inside pouch.

could make a lanyard of sorts and use the whistle as end piece instead of tying a knot . I usually make them zipper pulls on jackets
 
no problem, you can make out the outline in the leather.
I have another of these leather sheaths for the izula w/ same firesteel
