Show me how you have modified your izzy! What have you added to the sheath, how do you carry it? Do you wrap it in p-cord, or add micarta handle scales to it, or do you carry it with no grip?

Wrapped it in paracord. I've been carrying it in my right front pocket in the standard sheath.

Sheesh this ERIS camera is the pits...

*Black Izula Stripped, Patina'd, Convexed
*Flipped clip plate, notched for easier purchase
*piece of the fuzzy side of velcro adhered in between clip and plate
to keep snugger to Wilderness 5 Stitch (other side than shown)
*Rubber spacers and new bolts to clear scales
*zip-tied fire steel (more ties under ranger band)
*needle and bunch of thread wrapped around steel
*10'-ish electrical tape under enough 550 to wrap the handle

Currently working out a mini strop kit utilizing the clip-plate face...

This is a very. very fun platform to work with. :)

I just got my first izula, OD color and am blown away by how small but amazing it is.. At first I was in shock at how tiny the knife and sheath were, but then I took it out of the sheath and handled it.. wow does it fit perfectly in my smaller hands.. I decided that for me this is more of a concealed neck/defense knife than a survival/chopper (although I know it can handle those tasks). I slapped one of those cheapo ball chain necklaces on it and it feels very cool and lightweight.

I like to think of this izula as an urban/city survival blade

Izula's are great neck knives....I really don't want to ever find out how long it would take to chop a 3" log with one...

Point first batoning, about 10-15 mins.

Still looking for another bigger knife so I can make a piggy back sheath for this one.

No pics, but I pretty much just wrapped the handle in black paracord and wrapped the middle of the sheath with some too. I carry it in my pocket, usually the right but I need to put it in the left pocket because the little sonofabitch mutilated my thumb.

Nothing too fancy here, just put a convex edge and some 550 on the handle.
cobra stitch on the end of the handle is pulled really tight. This makes it pretty stiff and gives the pinky finger a good purchase.

Also made a kydex sheath for it, and carry it attached to one of the shoulder straps on my pack.

I carry one of the Izzy factory sheaths in one of the pockets on the pack in case I need the Izzy but not the pack, or if I need to take the pack in someplace that a knife on the strap isn't welcome.(like work:grumpy: I can really only get away with pocket carry there.)
