I looked at Knifeart.com, and found a bunch of J.B. Moore folders. I have to say, I think he's one of my new favorite "traditional" folding knife makers, just based on what I've seen there. I was just wondering if anyone here owned one of his knives, and what they thought of them. The ones I saw rival T. Bose's for beauty. He makes the most beautiful saddlehorn pattern I've ever seen.

I agree.I don't own any but I've been to the site also. His knives are incredible. :)

One of our forumites just bought a J.B. Moore in giraffe bone here...

Guilty as charged. The knife was delivered just the other day. I opened the box, ate the package of cookies that knifeart always sends, and then wrapped the knife and pouch in Christmas paper. I did not even peek at it. I did the same thing with a little Case/Bose whittler that a well known goat wrangler picked up for several of us forumites. I know, I know, it sounds silly but these are my Christmas presents. My inner child needs to open new toys on Christmas morning. :D.
I don't know about "rival T. Bose", warden41272, but I have handled some of his knives and talked to him a little at the Austin shows and he certainly knows what he is doing, no question about that.
