J. CHAFFEE knives made in Indiana ????

I need to find somebody that is familiar with the knives made in Indiana by J. CHAFFEE. I recently saw two of these that are Bowie style. I need to know if this is high end stuff, the general quality or any value. I might have the opportunity to get ahold of these in the near future. Thanks
