This was advertised on BF some days ago. It is made in the Far East but is a traditional type folder, so I hope ok to post..?

First impressions are it is pretty flawless........after a fair amount of looking for problems, I am rather amazed by this folder.

Feel and walk n talk: just lovely, a gorgeous snap and feel; perhaps a 5~6 pull; rolling around in palm of your hand, just a great sense of solidity; totally smooth......as if this guy has been making these for years

Fit n finish: simply cannot see or find an imperfection; the spine, bolster fit with pivot......too perfect..!?

Blade: arm hair shavin' - easi-peasi; stonewashed finish is excellent, very smooth with a lovely fine sheen; centred.....well, perfect.

My only issue, but I think it's just me - I'd prefer the blade very slightly deeper, which in itself would lift the nailnick up a tad and allow a pinch-pull

Very nice, very easy guy to deal with - a pleasure.....stunning vfm.

Here are his specs and I'll just add that cutting edge is 71mm, so just below 3"

Specifications:
Overall Length: 178mm(7.0")
Close Length: 98mm(3.86")
Blade Length: 80mm(3.15")
Blade Steel: Crucible CPM S35Vn
Hardness: 60-61HRC
Handle Material: 6AL4V Titanium Alloy + CarbonFiber or G10 scales
Back Spring: 420 Stainless Steel
Washer: Brass
HeatTreating: Vacuum HeatTreated,Oil quenched with cryo(-80C), double tempered by myself

Apologies, have taken some quick pics on iPhone but enough to see I hope...

Great looking slip joint! These knives sellout fast when they go up for sale. Can I contact the maker directly and get one?

They look to be sweet knives. I've seen a bunch sell on the AZCK site for anywhere between $150 - $200. Thats a pretty great price if you ask me considering its a full custom with S35VN steel. Everyone I've seen who owns one says the F&F is pretty remarkable. I contacted the maker a few months back and he said he was going on holiday and wouldn't be back in shop for a while. Maybe it's time I reach out again. Thanks for sharing!
