J Hook for Kydex knife Sheath Question

Does anyone know where to buy J hooks for kydex knife sheaths? Are all J hooks universal on kydex sheaths?

I'm not sure what exactly the J hook is. Is it a J shaped piece to slip over your belt? If so I've made my own with a strip of Kydex.
