I have a very nice linerlock custom knife by J.J. McGovern that I bought at a show a year or so ago. I have noted that the blade does not close completely so that the point is slightly exposed and I have cut my hand twice removing the knife from my pocket. Does anyone know how to reach J.J. McGovern? I would like to see if he could repair this for me.

I heard that he has retired from knifemaking. Hopefully you can still get your knife fixed by him.

JJ has definitely retired from knifemaking, though maybe someone here knows how to reach him now.
