The Red SWAT 9/11/01 has JMartinson engraved on the blade. Usually an engraved blade indicates that it was hand ground. I have searched every forum and custom maker listing and I have not found J Martinson.
I asked Phil and he did not know either. Does anyone know who this is and why his name is engraved on the blade? Or an email address for SWAT, and I will ask them. Thanks.
 
Hey, weren't you the one that told me the best way to get in touch with SWAT was going through Phil? :D

I took that to mean Phil didn't know who J. Martinson is, not that Phil didn't have SWAT's contect info. BTW, if anyone finds out, please post it, I need to speak to them.
 
Phil said he did not know who J Martinson was or why his name was engraved on the blade, he did say that he would find out for me. I was just wondering if any of you knew and could share this with me. I will follow up with Phil and let you know what I find out.
 
I meant that to be 2 different statements, that Phil didn't know who J. Martinson, and if anybody knew SWAT's contact info. Sorry for the misunderstanding, sometimes I use smilies as punctuation :)
