Just got this in the Mail from J. so I thought I would shoot some pics...

This knife has a etched 6 5/8" Blade with 4140 sides and a 1095 core and forge marked flats the guard and pin are stainless steel and the handle is stabilized curly/quilted Maple with Dark Denim Lapis and Black Spacers. OAL is 11 3/4"

I photographed it with the memorabilia that my Grand Father Collected when he fought in Europe in WWII. He was a D-Day Veteran and a Medic with the 280th Quartermaster Battalion, eventually serving under Patton. He died in 1986 and never mentioned the war but once. When he did he wept like a baby. I remember as a young teenager how amazed that a man who was always so happy could be so haunted. See pics...I miss you Grandpa.

Great knife Ren, I own one of J's knives and they feel great in the hand. Thanks for the picture's and memorabilia in the background.

That's some heritage you can be proud of.
Can't imagine what some of those guys went through? It was probably a real hell?

Very nice knife, and some great photos, thanks for the looks.

Nice knife by J.
Those are some interesting backgrounds. I think they are valuable besides aire looms. My father is also a WW2 vet and decorated. He only talked a couple times about it in his lifetime. We didnt find out what a hero he was until he was gone. We have allot to be thankful for and take our freedom for granted much of the time.

Nice Neilson Ren. Looks like it would be a great carry if you are so inclined.

It's bitter sweet to remember those that we love who are gone. I lost my dad a few years ago, he was a WWII vet. My granddad, who has been gone for awhile now was a WWI vet. A day doesn't go by that I don't think of them.

Great photos Ren.
