It was nice meeting you and your wife and getting to see some of you all's work. For anyone who hasn't got to, it is top-notch! Sorry you didn't get to the pit on Friday.

Pen -- if you read this, I looked around the pit for you on thursday and friday, but didn't see you at all. Of course, I had a "few" beers in me too. :D

....definitely a class act! These folks treated me as family during the 5 (or was it 6?) trips to their table before I finally decided on the Damascus Caper and the Damascus Necker w/magnetic sheath I scored. Excellent form, fit, and finish......work to be proud of for sure!

J., Tess, and Danny. What a wonderful family. The smile I got from the little guy was great!
I feel bad that it was near closing on Sunday before I finally got to their table to say Hello.
Hope to see you guys next year.

Michael, it was good meeting you in the Pit on Saturday night.

I was pleased too to meet J Tess and Danny. What a beautiful family of knifemakers! Great knives at fair prices also its no wonder they were thinning out by sunday

Thanks for the kind words you guys. I had a great time meeting everyone and playing at like I knew what I was doing.
We took a couple days after the show to see Tess's brother in Savannah and I just got in...drove straight through,,,about 15 hours. I'm gonna get some sleep and put up a post in the morning. Thanks again to everyone for your kindness and consideration to me at the show and your patience now. I'm just tucked though. Talk more soon.

Sorry to have missed you Burch....I was bushed from the drive in and didn't make it to the pit....had 3 boys to tend to...I was only at the Show from Friday evening to Saturday evening...Had to leave to visit my in-laws in Arkansas....!

Just got back from the 2 day drive home and I'm tired....:(

J - it was good to meet you and Tess. Wendy has some questions for Tess....:D

Frankly, I can't figure out how I missed seeing so many people....Big ugly guy wearing a bright yellow t-shirt....??

I wasn't there of course but J. and his wife Tess have been square with me and J has helped teach me, right here on BF.

I couldn't make it to Blade, but Peeps and I are planning on going to the Columbus, Ohio show in October. We're looking forward to meeting J. and Tess (and others) there. My Neilson's are the favorite customs/hand-mades I own, and J. and Tess are simply awesome folks to deal with. :)

Hell heck, gosh and gee, guys. You fellas keep this up I won't be able to get my big old head through the barn door.
Thanks.

MacHete-it will be great to finally meet you!

Dan (Pen.)-tell Wendy to send on the questions, she'd be more than happy to help.

Again, thanks to all.

Hey Bruce...aka-birdog4...I was suppose to e-amil something to you wasn't I? My brain has shorted out again. Drop me a note and remind me OK?
