J&P Cycles MultiTool

that other bottle opener with the pointed end is also a can opener. try it out and you'll see it works pretty decent. i have never seen a multitool without either one.

i wouldnt complain. i used to sharpen knives at a buddys biker bar and a lot of guys had a bottle opener on their car keychain. i also sharpened a lot of multitools that had the flat blade screwdriver/bottle opener. after looking at yours, they look like a leatherman in a way.

It closely resembles the original leatherman in alot of ways-though just by looking at the spring on the pliars I know it's not the same tool-the spring is different.

Also, those tools are accessible from the outside ( when the pliers are closed, which has been one of the complaints some have had about Leatherman tools for a long time now, no?
I have what appears to be an original Leatherman tool (have had it for several yers; looks exactly like this one here: http://www.leatherman.com/product/PST or here http://www.multitool.org/leatherman-tool-group/medium-tools/pst.html ). Handles are straight, not curvy like the OP's tool and no spring on the pliers.

Free from a discount internet supplier of motorcycle accessories? I strongly suspect overseas clone of Leatherman. That's no slam on the knife or J&P but I equally suspect you'll never find the real manufacturer. Best bet would be a FleaBay search for "J&P cycle knife"

The spring, serrated blade and phillips screwdriver remind me of an inexpensive multi tool I bought my son about 4-5 years ago at Wal-Mart. It was marketed under the Winchester brand at that time.

I am almost positive it is the same tool. I think WalMart still carries Winchester products but I do no know if they still carry this multitool or not.

I think I bought his for $10 and for what it cost it is really a decent tool. It actually came with some bits that fit on the Phillips driver(if I remember correctly).
My son has since gotten SAKs and a Leatherman but I think he still sometimes carries the Winchester since it was his "first" MT.

Hope this helps.

This is it. It's in my pocket right now in fact.

is stamped right on it. There is no spring, the pliars action is manual, which I have NO problem with-after working with blasting cap crimpers for a time I'm used to that manual pinching action. Got it on a TSA Ebay auction for a lot of multitools-I got like 19 of em for 26 bucks shipped. This thing costed me less than 2 dollars :)
