Most folks here probably haven't seen any of Jeremy Steely's (4ever3) knives because he's such a shy and humble guy :p, SOOOooo, I thought you might like to see one of his creations here. Jeremy sized up the eureka jack (ALWAYS found from long gone, old factories at around 3 9/16" in length) up to 4 1/8". He did a real nice job on this one....ebony shadow with 154CM blade and spring. Ground on a 10" wheel, the blade is delicately thin and would be a serious slicer. Although you probably will never see the dainty EJ in a size like this from Wilfred, some folks might like the idea and it looks like Jeremy knows how to do it. ;)

Jeremy's been doing some really nice work.

He's been kind enough to share images of current and past work and allow me to give my impressions and perspective.

I'm expecting to see terrific things from Jeremy over the coming years.:cool:

What size is this one? Re-read your post, 4 1/8, I think it looks really good!
Gotta love that ebony.

Job well done Jeremy and thanks for sharing Kerry.

"...They stab it with their Steely knives but they just can't kill the beast..."

Looks like Jeremy will soon be flyin' high with the Eagles.

Blues ,you need to order a large stabber jack from Steely.

I've noticed,in the few from Jeremy I've seen...
He does a few swedges you'll see on old traditional knives, that are not of the simpler styling (later dated knives).
Size & proportions are on the money.Very clean looking work, all around.
This noticed from the first few knives he's built!
I think Jeremy will do fine making knives . Good stuff! Good thread Kerry & keep it up Jeremy !

Some great looking work. Thanks Kerry.

That is one classy looking knife! For a second there, I thought this was one of Kerry's knives. Mr. Steely does some good work!

He's gonna be surprised when he sees this thread. :p You're welcome and thanks for looking.

This could be my favorite single blade so far, and I don't even like ebony that much.

I love the shape of that handle. I've never seen one before. Love the shield, too. Forgive my ignorance, but I've never heard of this maker. Google, here I come.

That is amazing in a ramped-up size. Still, I hope we don't have any batoning through car doors or tree limbs, though I am sure it is quite capable. ;)
