I hit a local antique store Friday. Don't usually have too much luck, or what they do have is way overpriced. I did spy a knife, and waited for the person to open the case. Turns out it was this nice JA Henckels.

Blade is pretty full, but was poorly sharpened. Don't really know anything about it. Nice unique knife. Reminds me of the one I modded for Mykel.

Very cool looking old world European style knife!:thumbup::thumbup:

As usual, the German's did an excellent job picking great stag for the scales. Do you know if it's a carbon or stainless blade?

Carl.

Not sure. It's not marked in any way. I would guess carbon, but I could be wrong...

That!!!!....................

is one awesome looking knife Glen! You must be happy with that find, what size is that knife - nearly 4 inches closed? As Carl has mentioned - beautiful Stag!

Very interesting knife sir

Very cool! Love that European style! The big, leaf-shaped blade strikes again. That one oozes "old world quality." Looks like it would go anywhere and do anything; I'd love to pocket one like that. Nice find!

Oh now that is a VERY nice find. Leafy goodness.

I bet that would give Jack's Castor a run for the money in the kitchen!
