He's known for his great packets of generosity, but I was amazed to see this wonderful box of (Viking as it turns out!) goodies appear on my porch, from England! In it, Jack wished me a belated Happy Birthday, just in time for Canadian Thanksgiving!!
Wonderful hand-forged objects galore; a caplifter, a corkscrew and an incredibly sharp one-piece sheath knife!!
Also a bronze pendant of a runic figure reminiscent of a Sicilian Trinacria! An implication of the Viking reach around the world!!
Also included some interesting postcards - one shown is of a 16th century Yorkshire Priory - Mount Grace!!
Is the Helmeted Warrior our Jack in a younger day?? 🤔

Oh man I just cracked up seeing your Viking Photo again Charlie- that's is Gold my friend- and what a neat Post to spot the Sicilian influence with the travels of the Vikings, in fact when you read just how far the Viking went with their Trading's- they went just about Worldwide- imagine that in those Boats - Wow!

Well done Jack for looking after Charlie.

I wish I was closer, so I could stalk you guys 🤣
