Hi,

I got a rather simple question regarding this machete for all of you folks out there who either have owned, own or have handle an ORIGINAL Crain Predator Machete.

The thing I am after here is : how does the spine look like on this machete ? Is the spine a sharped false edge or a false edge that has not been sharpen but just thin or is the spine a thick false edge around 0.1" thickness (a socalled "show edge" and is there for lighting of the blade) ?

At the time I know that the front false edge (the "clip point") is sharped but what about the rest of the spine ?

I am quite aware of who Jack Crain is and his way of doing business. Don´t be worried. But actually I am more interested in getting my question answered.

Is there really no one else who has been in direct contact with this original Predator Machete over time and can answer my question ?

Why not ask the maker? jackwcrain@crainknives.com

I have tried to email him at least 3 times by now but so far absolutely no reply.

Is there really no one here on this forum who can answer my question regarding the spine of this machete ? Or point me in a direction to someone who can ?
