Jack Crain

I've been a friend of Jack for about 13 years now. He's a great guy, and his work is amazing. He is involved in every aspect of his knives. He has no employees. It's all him.

The knives I've ordered over the years have taken on average 6 to 8 months to get, and well worth the wait.

Your best bet to get ahold of him is through e-mail, however I must warn you that he does get hundreds of e-mails a week, and his 4 answering machines are always full. So it might take a while, but he will contact you.

Like I said, he's just the nicest guy. Everyone I've known who's owned one of his knives had been impressed with the quality.

I hesitate to post this, but in the interest of all.......


Jack Crain might treat his friends very well, but its not the case with everyone, he is a very irresponsible knifemaker when it comes to other peoples money. This is a problem that has been going on for a long long time and is well documented.

Sorry for the negative post, but it needs to be said.
