Hello everyone. New to the forum but it seems like the perfect place to post this. Jack crain's dies a few years ago leaving his wife with all his equipment knives (finished and unfinished) and all his designs, and books on metal working. They have been sitting around since he died. She wants to sell everything. I figured if we can have everything sold in large chunks or even one give would be best.

Not sure you to go about this. Any advice would b helpful.

That's going to be a tough sell. Complete older shops and equipment would go in many lots.

You need an auction, industrial, or estate liquidator. Bruce Voyles is the only lead I could offer.

Jack Crain has an unfortunate history in Bladeforums, and many folks will not be kind. FYI.

I wish his wife better. Good luck.

Whatever you do, be sure to review the blue "link" which begins Coop's third sentence above. I imagine it will provide you with a wealth of information why many, many custom collectors "will not be kind".

OMG. I read "the blue link"

I have to admit, I LMAO at some of the comments.

I'd be very interested in some of the knives (finished or unfinished) that she might want to sell. How do I contact her?
