Kind of late on this 2020 Halloween, but...

Despite the craziness in the world around us, we managed to continue our fairly recent holiday tradition. The weather was and is still perfect, the family is happy, amd no JK knives were harmed in the making of these beauties.

Hope everyone is having / has had a great Halloween!

We didn’t carve any this year, but we did have candy out, and had quite a few kids come around.

halloween this year reminded me of this uncle tupelo song:

which is rather odd, because I didn't get particularly drunk or have any falls that day

(Friday night, another story )

We normally give out candy and decorate for Halloween. With 2020 being the way it is my wife tried doing a little extra. We bought pumpkins, raised pumpkins, and for the first time we had more pumpkins than we had time to carve. We made treat bags for all the classes at the preschool where my wife works and for all of my son's classmates. I did my part by buying pumpkin ales for the few friends who stopped by and a 12% IPA that was a bit much for my niece's boyfriend. At least he slept well.
We had a fun time and now my wife is talking Christmas.
