Well the title says it all, I'm looking for a Jacket for woods and fire resistant?

One of the fleece jackets I have has a bug hole in it from fire craft and another jacket I have is water and wind proof...but you get heat to in and it's DONE....

Any and all suggestions welcome...

Thx:)

Wool is great; sparks and cinders just fizzle on it. We were issued wool jackets and pants when I worked at an aluminum smelter, for just that reason. My old waxed canvas Filson Cruiser was also pretty fire resistant, not to mention, thorn proof and pretty close to bullet proof, too.

Nothing55, Here is a link to Dragonfur. I have never used the clothing so I canm't give you any info on it. I have a couple of the True North packs and like them a lot. The main part of the Firefly pack goes with me every day as my get home papack. I use the bag when I go out of town as part of my get home bag.

If you get a jacket I would like to see a review please.

I have a wool lined carhartt...spay it every now and then with a coat of waterproof spray....warm and bullet proof...

I wasn't looking for any FR jackets, but I just got myself a Kitanica Mark I-I needed something that's as tough as me:P. Should be here on Saturday.

i too use wool. Shirts, jacket and vests. I personaly think wool is great. Most of mine is from Filson.
