Found these two really nice slippies at the Alabama Gun Collectors show yesterday. A really nice condtion Schrade Old Timer 25OT 5-1/4" folding hunter, and Camillus Cartridge Collection .270 replica of the old Remington R4243 Camp Bullet 5'' camp style knife, just like the 1994 Remington Bullet Knife replica, but with real bone handle instead of Delrin plastic. Polished a little tarnish off of the Old Timer and sharpened up like the proverbial razor! I'd also been wanting one of those big old Rem Camp Bullets, and got the bone handled version ten bucks cheaper than the Remington branded one with plastic sides. $55 for the Camp Bullet, and a steal on the 25OT at only $20. Plus I got a free junk Chinese multitool for buying these knives. :p

Congratulations on two nice pickups. They both will serve you well.bbbb

Very nice snag! Those are beauties, that 25OT looks nearly unused. I got 2 of those and they are great knives, just as useful at deer camp as they were 50 years ago. That Rem. is sweet, insert knife envy here, I got to go to some of these southern shows. You guys have all the good knives stashed down there.

Come on down to the knife show, there was plenty to go 'round for everyone! If I'd had more money, there were several more I wanted to bring home with me. One man had a real 1930's Remington 5 blade sowbelly, in what appeared like little used condition, but wooohooo, I would have to have sold the car to have bought that one! One dealer had the entire selection of Remington Bullet Knife Reproductions, from 1982 up, tons of beautiful Bokers in stag, a pile of nice Old Timers, just temptation after temptation waiting on some money. :D

I wish I could.

I really like the Camillus Cartridge knife. Really solid looking blades.

Very nice. Congratulations. I am jealous.

I am very fond of Camillus knives, I think they are well-made and good value for money, with some extremely good-looking designs.

I have Camillus Barlows, Stockmen and and old camp/ multi-tool knife which is such a good fit in the hand and has a wicked sharp carbon steel blade that keeps a great edge.

Long live Camillus is what I say. There is a Camillus barlow in my pocket as I sit here.
