Since these two knives (offspring of C.C.'s fertile mind) are obviously brothers, I decided to name them based on Biblical examples. The first born, Esau (or Edom, the red one) is a hunter, who sold his birthright for something to eat. Obviously he would want a caplifter to satisfy his belly! The younger, Jacob, was more comfortable at home, tending the flocks, hence his need for a leather punch. I had to stop myself before I went too far and started calling Charlie, "Isaac." ;) But I think you will agree the boy's knife names are well suited. :D I sure love this new jigging of GEC's.

Jeff,
You got two different and useful knives with great traditional character.
It would have been hard to choose just one, You made a wise decision to buy both for a contrast and also compliment each other.
G.E.C.'s jigging is TOP SHELF, and the color is wonderful to say the least.
And, the boy's knife names are very well suited.

By no way am I indicating one has to much time on their hands but I do like the way you think Jeff :D
