These are 2 kitchen knives I just finished. The handles are Jade G10 and the pins are carbon fiber, I made up some special carbon fiber mosaic pins just for these. The blades have a forced patina that helps protect the blade, and I think really adds to the overall look.

I really like the look of the smaller one. I could see that blade profile as an EDC. They both look like good kitchen workhorses that are far more interesting than a manufactured blade. :)

Thanks you guys, I enjoy making kitchen knives because I know they will get used almost daily.

When I saw the title of the thread I was expecting to see some nice jade stone!

Although G10 is no substitute, those look to be perfect knives for kitchen use. I like both of them VERY much, especially the top one in the first two pics.

Thanks Peter, I find that the G10 works really well for kitchen use, as it is zero maintenance.

Love that Santoku, I can't find the other thread, what's the price on the Santoku?

Great looking pair, Ben! Love the handles, and the blade shapes. They look comfy.
The forced patina......beautiful! What did you use?

Mustard Jonny......Mustard!
