I must admit that I am a bit jaded when it come's to enjoying new knive's.
I have owned and sold most of the great makers.
Last week I received my first Rodrigo Sfreddo Knife and it is simply a wonderful piece of work!
Every once in a while a great maker come's around...in this case we may have one of the future leaders in the World of forged blades.

Enjoy
Dave

Damn. (Excuse me my french);). Impressive.

Kind regards,

Congratulationsmon a beautiful knife. I have had the pleasure of owning Rodrigo's work and know how pleased you must be. Great looking knife from one of the best around.

Great grab, Jon

Dave,

I have owned three of Rodrigo's knives (pre JS, JS and MS) and I must admit that his development over the years is astounding.

This knife is onece again proof of that. Amazing:cool::thumbup:

Thought we have lost some of the true pioneers of custom knives over recent years whose shoes will never be filled it's encouraging to see the extraordinarily talented makers coming along today. It's astounding how many spectacular knives we are seeing created on a regular basics.

Absolutely Kevin, knive's being made today are probably better made than at any time that I can remember. The ABS if chocked full of talent, the Tactical World is afire and more and more talent both by the stock removal method and forging, seems to be cropping up.
Bodes well for the future collectors, I only hope that the true greats are remembered thru pertuity.

I think they will always be remembered Dave, for to forget about Bill Moran and Bob Loveless would be to forget that there was an origin of the modern custom knife.

Rodrigo is an artist that works in steel. I had an opportunity to hold some of Rodrigo's knives, and talk to him a couple of times. His knives are amazing and continue to get better, as are his forging and carving skills.

He loves what he does and it is obvious by the results!

Nice grab. Even among Rodrigo's stellar knives, that one is particularly dreamy.
