jag handles vs. china handles

Purely for academic purposes does anyone know the composition of china handles versus jag handles? I know Mr,. Gollnick posted the composition of Zamak weigh back in the old school days but I never copied em.. then again I dont think Jags are made of zamak are they? Casting processes is also appreciated
