Jag Style VS BM Style

Just me but I used to love the small BM style handles. But after working with the larger style Jag handles I have noticed I feel safer with the larger handles. Anyone else?

Actually I went the other way. I have always liked heavy brass handles. For years all I had to work with were Manila Folders. You get comfortable with what you use. When I started using Benchmades, the lighter faster handles suit me better today.

Hmm. Good question.

I like heavy handles for flipping, so if I were to buy just a flipping knife, I'd get brass or SS.

but I also like the ti of my 43, so either way works with me. Plus the Ti is a lot easier to carry:)

Majparadox,

Know any one who owns a PC or BM Custom? Best flipper ever made. Very large handles. I have never held a Jag so I have no comment. Bigger handles give better control. The ti series BM makes now, sometimes I have no idea where the knife is going. Large and heavy is my preference.

I like 'em all.., even pot-metal with silly-putty in the blade channels :p .., but having naked Bali-Slaves to carry the heavy ones is nice also!

Someday I'll stop (or cut down) buying knives, and maybe I can afford a bali-slave or two... But it will be a while before I can afford to buy them any clothes...;)

Hey Navajo,
The Gold Dust Saloon is in Cripple Creek, about 20 miles west, on the other side of Pikes Peak.
It's still open, and has limited stakes gambling. ($5.00 limit) I've lost some money there...

Damn you all. I am spending too much on knives already and now you got me wanting one of these, No, I don't even want to ask "how much".:p

Yes Hawaiian.., the "Naked Bali-Slaves" are a nice addition to any well balanced collection :p Yes.., of course..., they can be "Pricey".., but heck.., look what we pay for the darn knives!!

If they are In-Serviced properly.., they can afford many more hours of Bali-Manipulation simply by loving to clean & maintain our beloved pieces. :p

Yeah Ok..., so I'm dreaming.. ..a little fantasy never hurt any HOBBY

Blade, one I was thinking of was in Springs. Seems like it was on the main road that went north out of Ft. Carson. This was in '84. Probably long gone by now. Had a dollar night. Anything you ordered was a buck.
