simple =) there is no such thing as a 'jag copy' a jag is better known as a BM 239 copy.

Cool. Thanks for that info. I was affraid I was ripped of by paying too much for not even an original Jag. Obviously they copy Benchmade, sortof. Thanks again

Ooo, ooo! A question I actually have some unique knowledge about.

AFAIK, anything with a Jaguar tang stamp is a "real" Jag. I have not seen a Rostfrei knock-off of either the insert or oval-skeletonized (both "surgical steel") Jaguars.

However, the most common design for crap balis, chromed, with circular holes, also exists as a Jaguar. If anyone is interested in the differences between them (beyond "JAGUAR STAINLESS TAIWAN" and "ROSTFREI"), my posts on this forum can be searched.
