OK The pins in the Jaguars and Dragon Forge knives are not so great. We are trying to get some better ones made but it is taking longer than expected so we just ordered and load of pins. So if you need an extra set or two of pins simply send us a SASE (Self Adressed Stamped Envelope) and I will get some right out to you.

Sorry but I must limit this to 1SKS customers ro anyone who has bought a Dragon Forge butterfly.

If you bought your knife elswhere where just send $1.00.

The pins will only fit the real Jaguars and Dragon Forge models made in Taiwan and NOT the China knock offs.

Hope this helps!

Please spicify if you want the brass color or silver.

Finally, someone listened to the pleas of the balisongers. So are these pins 2 pieces where you just pound in the cap? Or are these screw-threaded pins? Are they also hollow, solid, hardened? I can't wait to get a hold of some... just hope the shipping isn't more than the pins.

A real knife collector is always broke.

Hey Mike, great to hear that the problem is being addressed. At the same time, I'm more likely to do a nail pin fix then reorder a set of the pins already in the knife. If you do have a threaded version, I'm sure they would be a better sell. In either case, thanks for making steps to fix the problem.

On another note, i remember you had a machine or process that alowed for you to serrate non serrated blades in house. Whats the possability of getting a fully serrated Jag? Or better yet, 42?

Let us know.

The pins I have right now are the male/female type, non threaded. I am working on another solution and hope to have it out by fall.

On the serrations, I use a similar machine that Microtech uses so I can not do full serrations. Just one pattern, about 1 1/4" long. You should see the Cold Steel Tanto Voyager I did. I serrated the foward grind and the first part of the edge leading back. Really cool looking.
