I'm planning on getting a folder because I don't have one. All I have is a butterfly knife and I need a knife to carry around. Anyone know if the Jag m16 is a good knife to get? Thanks

Diamond Cut II: The Jaugar M16 is a direct rip off of CRKT M16. In the forums, rips offs are not regarded highly.
The CRKT M16 is based on the Kit Carson designed M16 and others series.

I don't care for blatant rip-offs myself, but this knife is probably worth the $10.00 it sells for. If you don't expect much, you are unlikely to be disappointed.

Knockoffs are a bad thing.

Cheap linerlocks are worse. The lockup will likely be shaky, and you could hurt yourself. When the lock gives out, the only thing that might save you from a nasty cut is the fact that the blade will probably be as sharp as a butter knife.

Save up another few bucks for something better, like a CRKT Mo Skeeter, or even a Meyerco folder at Smoky Mountain, or wait for a good deal used in the buy/sell forums.
