Jaimie Alexander (Lady Sif from Thor) is a legit knife fan.

I was listening to The Nerdist podcast with Jaimie Alexander. She mentioned being a big knife fan. Usually I roll my eyes when I hear that but later she mentioned she had a Spyderco.

Looks like it's just an Endura but it's a start right?!

She used to go by James Alexander right? Chica from pearl harbor movie...always seemed to have a pretty good head on her shoulders IMO!

Yeah, she's real legit with "her new Spyderco VG-10" there.

Somebody needs to tell her that's the steel, and the knife is an Endura.

No kidding, right. Obviously a blatant attempt tp get in good with the knife crowd. Like we'd ever let her in the club.

I wouldn't kick her out of bed for eating crackers... she could join the Plumbers union if she wanted to.

In fairness, if you were to hand someone a Spyderco (and they weren't a knife aficionado) it would seem pretty logical to me for them to assume that the letters and numbers etched into the blade below "Spyderco" would correspond to the model...

Plus, not many people actually care about the knife model. We do because it's our hobby. I can't say I'm familiar with this actress' work, but any good press for quality knives is a positive thing.

Maybe someone else can clarify but I heard Angelina Jolie used to be a big knife nut, collecting a lot of exotic blades.

Technically, giving her the benefit of the doubt here she could have always wanted a Spyderco knife made out of VG-10... Now that she has money she might have looked at the selection of knives, considered the different raw materials they were made of, and decided on one made from that spidey vg10 she always wanted and wanted to brag about it. Hence, "my new Spyderco VG-10" could be a valid statement. I mean who gives a crap about the model when it's made out of VG-10?

Then again she might be better off sticking to cooking or something instead of knife collecting. :)
