It came to my attention in a bit of a round about way that some people think that I dont have much to offer in the way of a clean fit and finish. So I thought I would prove them wrong

I wish I had better pic taking abilities but alas I do not so deal with it

I cant decide if I want to take this to blade with me for my table or sell it in the cove?

Here she is
Specs:
Blade 3.25 CPM154 .140 thick
Frame .140 thick 6AL-4V
Bearing system
.250 pivot
Satin flats on the blade, sandblast/tumbled bevels
Design is my own, just playing around on the mill manually

I just happen to catch this thread when i opened BF. Never heard of you or your knives. Looks damn good to me bro.

First of all anyone that is talking smack about Jake has no clue what this man is up to! His style is just plain sick!! Yeah he doesnt make Sebenzas but they dont make crazy ass blades like Jake! If people want pretty you know where to find pretty. To question his fit and finish is ridiculous!! I own a couple hundred knives, you name i have it! I own one of Jakes knives so far! Its a one of a kind custom A10! Its rough, tough and mean looking yet the fit and finish is top notch! Jake, brother whoever is saying that smack is just plain crazy!! Here is my beauty!! Jake you rock brother!!

im in agreement. im not a fan of shiny and pretty. if i own it i use it. nothing is set on a shelf unitl it can no longer be used. very solid looking folder.

Jake, I love your blades buddy! Can't believe you had a complaint. This one looks great, love the texture on the scales.

Good stuff as always!

Nice job Jake on the Ti scales and knife. I've often wondered why most of the ti scale handled folders were smooth.
I mean why they did'nt have some kind of texture or design on them. I've never worked with ti myself but i guess its not an easy thing to do.
Bravo! and well done sir, congrats she's a beastly beauty.

Yeah Jakes knives are sick!! Id like to know who was talking smack about his knives. They are fools that are prob just jealous!

I should clear up my comments a little. Its wasnt so much of smack talk as it was that they thought I didnt do any better work. I dont think they meant to hurt my feelings, but I did take it as a challenge to show them!:) I think it worked.

I sure appreciate all you guys, your comments mean a lot!!!

I just don't see where fit and finish is in question here. Looks awfully clean and precise to me. I'm a huge fan of your knives. Whoever these people are that are making you doubt yourself are seriously hard to please individuals.

beautiful knife Jake!

i have to say i prefer the acid/stonewash finish on the blade , gives it unique worn out look!

My new knife is a beauty!! Jake was that difficult to do that pattern because ti is so hard? Must ve been pretty tedious! Killer freakin work though man!! Cant wait to own both an acid stonewashed version and a beautiful shiny one as well!! Im psyched!!
