I just received my Jake Hoback A10 Framelock Flipper today. I had Jake build me a flipper that was made to use from day one. He put an industrial looking finish on the knife that consists of an acid washed blade then the blade is stonewashed and a stonewashed titanium frame.
Here are the specs:
* CPM 154 blade, .140 thick, 3.5" long, acid washed then stonewashed, I believe the HT is at 60RC
* 6AL-4V titanium slabs at .205 thick
* Handle is 4.5" long
* Bronze washers
* 1/4" diameter, stainless pivot
* OD Green backspacer
* Stainless screws
* Titanium clip
* Jeweling on inside of Ti slabs
* I haven't weighed her yet but I'm guessing 5.5 to 6.5 ounces
The action is very smooth and the lock up is solid. The blade is perfectly centered when closed. I'm extremely happy with this knife. I carried her the last half of today already! She's built like a tank. The edge is SUPER sharp and the grip is very natural. The thumb ramp is exactly where my thumb wants to rest.
