Im on the list as well. Very excited for how this thing is going to turn out. I missed the opportunity to have snag an awesome Lefty custom Kawaiback the other day, but i passed on it. really wish I hadn't now!

my guess would be if you're getting the update emails, its safe to say he got you on the main order list. Not quite sure though.
Accidentally emailed twice so i got one of each email haha. This is the backup email.

So I made the list?? I received an e-mail form Jake on 9-11 with an attachment of the mid-tech design and information about the deposit and est. cost etc.. does that mean I made the list??
Midtech Kawaiback Update
Hay Guys and Gals,
Thanks for your patience with the amount of time it has taken us to get the final quote from the machine shop for these knives. He had a family emergency that put him a week or so behind schedule.
Currently the machine shop is building the first 3 prototypes to verify the design. These should be done by the end of September early August. Once we have verified everything is as it should be, we will start production.
Deposit:
We will be taking a $55 non-refundable deposit. The deposit will go towards the final cost of the knife.
Total cost:
Each Midtech Kawaiback will be $425. This will cover all costs from Paypal to shipping and insurance. If the shipping address is outside the US please add an additional $20 to the total.
Please be aware there is no insurance on out of the US shipping. We cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged goods.
Payments and due dates:
We will take deposits as soon as we receive the prototypes and approve production. We will send out an email update to let everyone know that you will have one week to send the $55 deposit to us through PayPal or USPS money order. Currently it is looking like the end of September to the first week of August when the deposit will be due.
If you are unable to meet this deadline we will move to the next person in line.
Final payment will be due as soon as the knives are ready to be shipped. We will update as to when this will be.
