Hey Jake, our birthday is coming up on Sunday. Want to come down to Utah for a little Dutch Oven BBQ? I have lots of Roast Beast to cook up and other yummy stuff. LOL!!

I know it's probably not possible. So what do you have planned for Sunday? I'm planning to go to Church then come home make some yummy Dutch Oven something then Cobbler. After a small dinner with a few friends and maube some family I'll play games with them. Just a simple night of dinner and games with friends and hopefully some cute girls.

4 days from now we will be 27. I don't feel old. I feel like a younin still!

That is right, we do have birthday coming up on Sunday

My big plans?...As much "Jack Squat" as I can handle I talked it over with my wife, Brenna, and requested a day of nothin'. We spent last weekend in Louisville visiting her folks, her friends, and going to wineries. It was for her birthday since she turned 27 on the 18th....plus she got the day off from work. It was a lot of fun doing all that, but we have some wedding to go next weekend. I don't wanna do nothin' on my weekend.

Granted, I have to do the go-out-to-dinner-with-mom-thing Saturday night. I'm an only child, so mom milks the birthdays. I think Friday night, the wife and I are going to go out to a quaint little bistro that we reserve for special occasions and birthdays. It should be pretty quiet there now that Valentine's Day is over. However, Sunday belongs to me. I'm going to get up late (probably around 8ish) and Brenna is baking me muffins and making me lemon bars (my favorite). The rest of the day is going to be spent in comfortable clothes and probably in front of the xbox soaking up my dwindling weekends. I go back to 7 day a week hours the first week of April.

So, not an exciting 27th birthday, but just want I've been wanting for a couple of weeks now. I hope yours is a great one, Heber. Sliding down the back half of your 20's is surprisingly fast I mean, I got married at 24 and that felt like yesterday. Time flies when you're havin' fun, I guess

I do appreciate the offer, though:thumbup:. However, the last time I went out that far I was on so much anti-anxiety meds that I had a conversation with my buddy for 5 minutes...that had walked away from me after 30 seconds of talking. Yeah, I was pretty dang stoned. My wife, my buddy, and his wife all had a pretty good laugh at my expense. Going on the big metal birds skeer me

Edit to add: Did we ever figure out which one of us was the oldest? I was born around 1pm central daylight saving time.

Kis that's just what my wife claims. She also claims to her peers that she is under contract for my care. I mean, she does work in the psychology field. Her hooking up with me on her own accord is like a butcher who's a vegetarian.

27 years old. Am I still that young? Lots of the girls around here are between 19 and 23. So I'm "old". But dang it all, I feel really young. LOL!!

Enjoy your cobbler and special day with your lady friend If I get lucky, the weather will get just bad enough that I won't be able to make it out of my driveway tomorrow morning. Dang the bad luck, I'll have stay in and make it a three day weekend

Ohh poor you! My bos would still make me come in to work today even if it snowed 3 feet in the next few hours. Here in Central Utah we don't know what a snow day is.

My time with the lady friend was last night. Some eating and lots of talking. What to do for Sunday?? Invite a few girls apartments over for games, the family, or both? hmmmm.....
